“My Philosophy on Mental Health and Wellness”
Mental health is a complex topic that welcomes varying ideas, philosophies, responses, and actions. The way in which a person chooses to reflect on their own mental health and wellness can drastically change the way in which he or she interacts with our world. As a counselor, my goals for my clients are to consistently help to increase self-awareness, growth, and achievement of personal goals. It is my job to help clients discover answers to their own questions and assist them in solving problems, as well as to heal and relieve emotional discomfort. I believe that all of us should focus on wellness daily. Through this, we can become the best version of ourselves and gain a deeper understanding of the lives we want to lead.
